That is great bit of humor. Some years ago I was quite involved in our local IOOF lodge. At the end of the lodge meeting it was tradition that the Noble Grand (head of the lodge) would ask if anyone had anything for the good of the order. At this point anyone could tell a good joke, recite something they had worked on etc. I had found that song as a poem somewhere and recited it with the best brogue I could. I got a round of applause all around.
