Very interesting...especially that she is one of the older "original" locomotives on the roster as opposed to the later more modern ex-IRCA 101 series 2-8-0 types.
12 was in service when Dave Sell & I visited Salvador in April 1975. We just missed her, she had come in from the branch that went to the port and was still hot in the roundhouse.
IIRC, 12 is a Ten-Wheeler and not a Consol
