Ed you are correct. I was getting ahead of myself thinking and typing. No. 39 is in fact a 2-8-0 and the post edited accordingly. OR&L Nos. 60, 70. 80 and 90 were 2-8-2s and mechanically identical to the D&RGW K-28 class. They differed in details like air pump location and a few others items. Most notably they were oil fired vice coal and had smaller tenders. Their tractive effort was also reported by ALCO as greater than the K-28 but I have no isea why.
