There is a good chance you and I crossed paths in the past. I spent a lot of my days off in Chama in 1973 and 1974. I was working at the Central City Railroad and the...under construction...Georgetown Loop Railroad. So what did I do on many of my days off??? Went to Chama to look at a narrow gauge railroad!! It was kind of silly, but many of us did not know what the future would hold for the C&TS line, so we wanted to see it while we could.

40 years later...it's still up and kickin'
