It was a superb photo special. We had some rain towards the end of the day. Ninety percent of the run-bys were done, and we were getting tired anyway.

The Goose was an extra bonus. You could hear it honking for miles. There were about as many riders in the Goose as on the freight train. It must have been a bit cramped inside the Goose compartment.

At one point I'm pretty sure there were 3 live steam locos + 1 Goose at Osier. I tried to get a shot with all, but I had to get on board the train.

The working freight was a great experience. Congratulations to the crew for their superb support and excellence. The 489 was working as a precision machine.
