What I am saying is that the number of folks is secondary. What is primary is that the cost of the TRAIN is paid for, otherwise the numbers mean nothing, if there is no train to haul anyone. Right now Russ is sticking his neck out, and I am sure he has a make or break deadline, where he might back out before risking the entire amount. I think if I read his goal correctly that 50 riders paying $100.00 would allow for 50 Volunteers to be sponsored. I read that as 100 people total. Now if some of those 50 who pay do not actually ride, then there would maybe be room for more....Russ will do the math I suspect to figure all that out.
My point was TRAIN FIRST, numbers later, and the final tally is predicated on how much cash flows. Personally I would have liked to see the two states step up to the plate here and help Russ out, since they are the owners. Maybe I better shut up now before I get myself or someone else in trouble.
