There was an article about 317's tender in the Gazette last year. 317's tender is still in existance, it's behind RGS42 in DRO. The RGS got a hold of it after 317 got scrapped. The story about the small Flying Grande is that the shop crew who repainted the tender couldn't locate a large stencil, and instead used a freight car stencil. Hope this helps.
