I agree. I spend about 1 minute per week on Facebook now. I'm not saying that information should be on Facebook solely. And since many employers also block Facebook, redundant postings should be the norm. I'm just saying that Facebook should not be disregarded. For me, Facebook is the primary, and sometimes only, method of keeping in touch with old friends and acquaintances. When I or my wife post vacation pictures, there are a lot of people viewing them. Some of whom will be curious about my vacations and want to know more information. They most likely aren't going to stumble onto any tourist railroad's or Friends' website (at least my friends aren't). When I "LIKE" something in Facebook, my "friends" will see that. I can't "LIKE" the C&TS if it doesn't have a presence in that Internet space (although I can post articles on Facebook from external links). Also, on average, 1 million photos are viewed every second on Facebook. If tourist railroads can get in on that action, then I believe they'd be the better for it.
