My Space was for teeny-boppers. Facebook, while being used by teenagers, actually is big due to its popularity with adults. I never signed up for Myspace, but I did for Facebook last year when I turned 45. I hooked up with many folks from college 20-25 years later. My high school jazz band instructor is on there, and he is approaching 80! You should not underestimate the power of Facebook nowadays. There was just a story yesterday that stated that Facebook usage amongst its 400 million users has hit 16 billion minutes per day! Here is a breakdown of the ages in the US:
