Earl, correct me if I am wrong, but even this is nothing compared to the real peak of the railroad, which was the early 20s, at least according to Norwood. With the small engines of that era, it took a LOT of little trains to move the freight over the line. And there was more stuff to move. I would guess that by 1950 most of the mining related freight was long gone.
