I wasn't aware of it until recently, but the Stuhr's new director was last at Cowtown Museum in Wichita. We were happy to see him go. He made enemies of nearly everyone at the museum with his heavy-handed my way or no way approach. Wanted to remove everything from Cowtown that wouldn't have been there in the 1870's. This included shade trees, electricity, air conditioning in the gift shop, and so on. I was sorry to hear that he went to Grand Island, hopefully they will get rid of him soon.
