I was wondering if there were any tunnels on the original narrow gauge La Veta Pass route. If there were any tunnels, did the tracks that connected to them run on a ledge on the top of a hillside where if a train derailed, it would go down the hill and have a serious accident? I want to try and make up some events where the train has a near-miss with these things on my future HOn3 layout. Any answers will be appreciated.
