Tomorrow I am sending a demo disk to Ernie Robart. There may be a couple of minor errors, but for the most part I can finally say I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on this one. Its been a monster with the entire show creating huge files of rendering, etc, etc. The bottom line is that it would not all fit onto one dvd master. Therefore it has grown to a 2-dvd set. Never fear, we will not charge more than $5.00 extra for the second disk, and both will be in the same case sold together. Each disk worked out to 3.2 gigs at the best quality settings, and each was around 50-51 minutes. Previews still need to be added at the end, and a couple of other things, but once Ernie gets back to me after checking it out we will be basically finished with editing this thing.
So, now that I have a little more free time, I am going to post 3 more images for kicks when we hit June 3rd, June 4th, and June 5th, showing scenes from those dates in 1968. As a warmup here are a couple.
This is the 1966 or 1967 Dodge Pick-up Camper. Dad bought it used in 1967, and took it to NG country twice, including our 1968 adventure. We shot pacing pics out that back door!!! Not real safe, but we were stupid teenagers and figured it was near the end of the NG so we went for it.
498 Eastbound from Durango to Chama along the relocation road east of Arboles. This was taken from the back door of the camper on June 4, 1968.
