This was classy thing to do by the railroad and whomever else planned it.
I didn't really know Nan, but remember a group of gals which included here making the lunches for my one and only Work session in 1993. I remember the huge lunches they served and even I could not eat it all. There were 2-3 sandwiches, chips, apple, candy, and other stuff. So, I benefited from 2 of Nan's lunches in 1993 and know she was a big part of the overall success of the Friends and the continuation of the C&TS. I did meet Les Clark on an Ohio Central 6325 charter in 2002.
Kudos to the railroad for doing this tribute. Wish the 484's whistle sounded better though!
