Hi Terri, I guess the idea began with a thought about the wreath on the locomotive at Christmas time. The idea of the long whistle is not new and it has been done before to honor others. The choice of the water tower location came about because it was one of Les' favorite video locations. As the plan was shared with others, everyone seemed to think it would be a nice tribute for Nan and the video and wreath being sent to Les will give him something to keep and remind him that many people were thinking about Nan AND about him on Opening Day.
