Brookes was the preferred supplier of motive power for the numorous narrow gauge lines in Northwestern PA and southwestern NY in the 1880's. The entire roster of the Bradford, Bordell and Kinzua (with the exception of a lone ex D&RG Baldwin Mogul)were from the Brooks works.
