Taylor,
Last year I acquired a 2 1/2 to 12 live steam replica of the C&S#22, which is a Brooks mogul built in 1882 for Denver, South Park, & Pacific as #35, and named the Dillon. The Dillon originally sported a wagon top boiler. I really don't know too much about the prototype, but there are photos of it in the The 2004 Narrow Gauge Annual. It became DSP&P #102, and later Denver, Leadville, & Gunnison #102, where it was rebuild in 1894. By 1899 it belonged to the Colorado & Southern as #22. There are several sets of drawings of the #22, but I don't know of any original plans. Attached is a photo of the loco I now own. I always appreciate the additions and corrections from the members of this forum, all of whom are more knowledgeable than I. Taylor let me know if you can't find that issue, or if you find additional info on the #22. I think you still have my e-mail. And get #19 running again so I can come back and make another attempt at running her!
