A while back we had a discussion on the mine. As I recall both Mr Cook and Floppo provided some input on where the branch came off of the main. I attempted to add that to my NG circle map at the time. The link below will take you there. At the bottom of the map is a "La Plata Coal" button that will zoom in on the area.

As Floppo mentioned the upper section of the line is shown on old topo maps but the lower section is not and hard to trace on the aerial.
