Will, if I had to take a guess, I would guess that yes, it should be close to what needs to be done to the 476. But I have little details about either engine other than the "cylinder saddle" was cracked on both. It has been rumored that the rebuild on the 786 was sub par and all of this is getting fixed this time around (hence it taking ten years). The length also has to do with it being all volunteer labor and of course funding...
Russ, do you know where the 786 was when yall borrowed the break shoes? I have never found out exactly where she was on display before being restored.
