The maroon cars are the "premium" class cars and are permanently painted in this scheme, but usually are found at the end of the regular trains rather than as a solid train set. I agree they make a handsome train. Wish I could have been there. The D&S is temporarily painting several cars this year in "San Juan" green for some specials, and those cars will presumably get painted back to yellow when the specials are finished.
