Larry,

It looks like the new boiler that was bought for #4 is still on site in front of the engine house in your first photo. I know that was later leased or sold, along with the remains of #3, to the Huckelberry RR. It is interesting to see the place in this 1976 view. It sure looks cleared out of trees and brush. In this view, I would guess that engine #3 is still in the engine house, partially disassembled as it was left when the Q&TL shut down in 1945. Number three's drivers were left outside at the time of that disassembly, and they are the subject of your second photo.
