Thanks for continuing with these really interesting posts - the first thing I look for when logging on to the NGDF.
I noted that 490 had worked from Alamosa to Chama on the 9th and there had been an inspection at Antonito.
Had 490 been under repair at Alamosa between end January and start March and was the trip to Chama by way of a test trip?
