That is GREAT news to this Curmudgeonly old Pot-Stirrer!!
I hope in future years the C&TS and D&SNG continue to coordinate their end-of-summer events,
and that the D&RG in South Fork and SL&RG in Alamosa also get involved. As noted elsewhere,
the CRRM, the Loop and even the LC&S could take advantage of fans arriving & departing via Denver
by staging events before, between and/or after the D&S and C&TS festivals*.
Rocky Mountain Railroad Madness - 2011!! 2012! ... 2013 ...

* It has been mentioned in Chama that having an annual Railroad Days festival immediately after Railfest
each year could help energize an otherwise quiet time on the C&TS ...
