Michael,
I've been doing a little "research" on the Animas Forks the past couple of days and came across your post. I found the image you mention here. It is in "The Rainbow Route." The 2-page spread starts on page 272. The Animas Forks close up is on page 274. Then, there is a 4-page spread starting on page 276. The date in the caption is 1912.
