Sorry I had to say it!!

While in South Africa in 1977, we were out on the remote Sterkstom to McClear Branch, and were waiting on a train a long way from anything major. There was a station halt with a bunch of locals waiting to get on the train we were chasing, and I had to do my business. There was this little outhouse, mainly for the non-whites, but I didn't care at the time. They had it stocked with cut-up newspaper squares, which was far better than nothing!!! We generally carried a roll or two with us for emergency use!!!
