... also Knott's is quite a ways away from Big Tujunga Canyon and other places that get
the really bad flooding and debris flows.   And "The Big One" won't happen all at once -
IIRC, Southern California is moving north at only an inch or two per decade.

(I would have said that Knott's is approaching Felton at only an inch or two per decade, but I'm pretty sure that they are both on the west side of the San Andreas Fault, and moving toward the WP&Y together ... )
