Jerry, you seem to be the only one who has a picture of D&RGW 070. You had told me at one time it had round "porthole" windows.

My question concerns the blade. 070 is constr. # 36 which drops it right between the two RGS plows, all built by Portland. What style blade does it have? The older style like the RGS plows and D&RGW OM or the new style like D&RGW OO.

THe folio shows a 9'-9" blade compared to the smaller RGS and OM blades but I have seen the larger old style blade on some newer SG rotaries. The construction date doesn't help either as new blades started as early as #21 but old style blades still showed up after the supposed standard #39 was built.

Sure looking forward to seeing your Snow fighting book someday. Hope you publish all the great info you have. Thanks for the answer to the flanger and spreader question also!
