After reading this thread I realized that I have a drawing of the Hermosa Howe Truss Bridge. It was Insert Number 29 published by the Rocky Mountain Region of the NMRA (August 1960). The rods connecting the two truss, were 1 1/8 diam. I got a lot of drawings from this source way back in the 1970's. I wonder if they are still available or could be republished? They had a set of drawings for the RG drop bottom gons that was unbelievable.
