I thought that La Veta or some other jurisdiction was attempting to stop the dirt shipments but I do not think that they can interfer with interstate commerce. I just wonder how it is more economical to truck the radioactive dirt from New Mexico to Colorado for shipment by train, is Antonito the closest railpoint. Since the Federal government is doing this dirt deal, I wonder if this might encourage them to approve part of the SLRG grant request for track improvement money.
