Hi, Jeff -

It's pretty hard to argue with documentation like that! My memory is obviously fading,
as I remember Rico as being in a much narrower valley, and the road north out of town
as being high up on the side of the hill. I forgot that the road drops down and crosses
the river - and the old RR grade - before starting the long, steep climb to Lizard Head.

Having ridden this on my bicycle a few years ago (south side of Rico to beyond Matterhorn, and return), I have no excuse!
