My guess is no one in Espanola has even contacted the C&TS Commission about this. It is all wishfull thinking. Back in the 90's a group in Chama wanted to create a RR museum there ("it would bring in another 50K people here in the off season and it would make lots of $$$"). They naturally assumed the C&TS would donate rolling stock (463 was mentioned in particular) to the cause.

I suspect this idea will end up the same way - forgotten.
