It took me a while to get used to it in its current blue, too. The blue paint does have an historic precedent on the Reading, with at least one G-1sa Pacific being that color for a time. And let's remember that this engine is privately owned and its owner can paint it any color he wants.

I saw it in black with red windows and with the headlight high and a round Baldwin number plate. But in 2009, I'll take my steam locomotives any way I can get 'em, as long as they're running.
