Gotta disagree with you on this one Russ. They really messed up a rather nice engine. The former Gulf & Mobile is supposed to be black, and has a headlight above the smokebox not center like it has now. It ran that way back in the early 80's and ran some 60 mph stints on the Blue Mountain and Reading(Thats what it was called). Imagine taking a K36 and painting it read, moving the headlight down to the Center adding a square water tender and putting some gold leaf along the edges....mmmm good, eh!!!

PS This is precisely why I prefer the C&TS engines to most of the stuff thats running in the US today!!
