As built, the Daylights' skirts had small access doors to allow servicing of the air pumps, etc.
When 4449 was rebuilt for the A.F.T. much larger doors were incorporated into the skirts, but
servicing was still a bit of a problem (while shooting the pins in Colton, I had about a quart of
valve oil poured down my back by another volunteer who was trying to top off the lubricator)
