IIRC, THE (Shamrock) HOTEL - Roger & Barbara's place - is already completely booked for the end
of August next year ...

I won't be at all surprised if a lot of visitors end up staying in Antonito and even Pagosa Springs or
Lumberton. Barbara even mentioned the possible need for a shuttle bus between Chama and Pagosa!

p.s. There are campgrounds and R.V. sites in Chromo and Blanca as well, if the Rio Chama campground fills up, and several places along the Conejos River on highway 17 between Chama and Antonito. Skyline Lodge in Platoro on the upper Conejos is a GREAT place, but it's about 2½ hours from Chama.
