I normally stay away from these "If I had money..." threads..
But I had to comment.. While that shot of 169 is neat, how about restoring her to a state that isn't a poor attempt to backdate a modernized locomotive to her earlier appearance. That photo is nice but that was what she looked like when she was stuck in the park. The paint job she is wearing is a poor fantasy remake of what she looked like in the 1880s-1890s.
Personally I would like to see at least 1 single D&RGW locomotive restored to operation with its appearance prior to 1930.
For now I suppose 168 will continue to be a mediocre stand-in.
