Coach #280 is scheduled to visit the Colorado Railroad Museum next.
Uhrich Locomotive Works in Strasburg, Colorado currently is working on restoring the tender for RGS/C&S #74 (#30).
John Bush may help out with work at the Georgetown Loop shop this winter. He's the person that coordinated the lease of #40 to WP&Y and is also overseeing the complete overhaul of #44.
It's very hard to keep anything but black on the running gear of shays. The beveled gears get a heavy/thick grease that would quickly cover any nicely white outlined wheel edges.
