Both Shays look fantastic. The Georgetown Loop RR does things right so the engines look the way they did in the original work site. BLACK steam engines are a rare breed. All too many so called historical railroads paint their engines with white tires, and lines so you can not see the true steam engine. Just cause it came from a builder that way does not make it look like a true working engine. Black is beautiful. Keep that red pilot beam smudged and dirty to look real.
Did I miss something? Where is the #280 going and is John Bush leaving the WP&Y to come to the GLRR? I would guess #280 is going into display in the glass house at Georgetown. PRR
