I was wondering about the style of markers used. I figured they were wrong and should be radial. But then I seem to recall seeing the round lens style on a K-36 in one of my many D&RGW books.

The era I'm shooting for is the late 1940s for my #489. Guess it's time to start hunting down any photos of her in this time period. I guess it's tough to really know what a prototype looked like without having a prototype photo in the exact era you're trying to recreate.
But then I think, apart from myself and most members here, who's really going to notice these minor nitpicks.
Hey, at least she doesn't have a green boiler
