Why am I not surprised that #483 is among those you mention?

As a passenger on the Iron Horse June Journey (1960) and the Alamosa Kiwanis Kolor Karavans of 1962, '64 and '66, it is difficult to find among my photos of any of those trips a year in which #483 was not the road engine from either Alamosa to Durango or vice versa - if not both - in those final years of the D&RGW Narrow Gauge. IIRC, #484 was also the road engine on at least one of these trips.
