Yes, there is a huge 'rumor mill' in Chama, and everywhere else, but I've learned fast how to spot what is a rumor and what is a done deal, and what sources can be trusted. Also, if someone tells me something in confidence it stays that way.
The RGRPC would do well to start putting out the news in a more timely and factual manner, so that people don't have to keep hearing it first on The Goat, or hear it refuted on The Goat. In fact, if anybody in the appropriate place in the chain of command had said to me: "Hey, this is happening, but please keep a lid on it until we can make an announcement.", I would honor that, even though some of your buddies in the RGRPC are trying to make life miserable for me.
You would not believe the amount of stuff that I have on the back burner, that won't see daylight until the research is done.
