I scanned two of the images from the book in question:

The first is a William Henry Jackson photo that has been color tinted with the Pullman Green passenger cars.

The second is a painting/lithograph based on a William Henry Jackson photo taken from the bottom Toltec Gorge looking up at Rock Tunnel.

I do believe that artistic liscense was taken with the Pullman Green cars but regardless I find it interesting that the photo would be included this way.
