Yep, the 260 was purchased at the sale in Ridgway in 1960. Bob bought it because it still had the passenger car trucks. I think he put them under the Uintah business car, and the 260 sat on freight car trucks in the back lot. The Uintah car had sat in a backyard in Grand Junction for years. It was pretty well complete...except for...no trucks. The 260 and others went to the Huckelberry....I think in the late 70's. I tried to buy the locomotive and the 260, but was outbid. The huckleberry and i were the only ones interested.I couldn't offer a lot of money back them. After all, that kind of equipment was a "dime a dozen" in the scrap yards!!!
