Goose 7

A couple of weeks ago, I took the grandkids out for a ride on Goose 7 at the CRRM. From these pictures you can get a good idea of the work Al and others did to the interior. In the first, Jessica is demanding the camera so she can take pictures, including the 2nd picture. One of the benefits of digital is that a 7 year old can learn photography without bankrupting the grandparents! The 3rd is a scanned slide and I need to dig out the original to date it, but the little boy in the center is the father of the two grandkids! I imagine it was taken circa mid-70s. IIRC, we had gone out there one weekend and discovered they were offering Goose rides –a bench or chairs put in the back of No. 2 for the passengers – which appear to be the four of us!
And a wheel fell off! After some sidewalk superintending, we had to hike back to civilization!
