Since I basically grew up in Gunnison I had the pleasure of seeing the depot as well as the decapetated La Veta Hotel. From my memory the depot is located east of the airport terminal I can't remember st. names but it is in that general location (S.E. end of town). Since we are in the area I do remember that the depot in Crested Butte used to be painted purple--real essentric looking, but you could definitley see it was from Rio Grande specs.!
