Re: Green globe D&RGW lantern

Scott...some years ago I was into lantern collecting, and while I can't answer your questions, I might suggest browsing book and rail sites for reference material. There was a booklet that I had which gave prices and info on railroad lanterns, but I can't find it now. Not sure if it went into the kind of specific railroads you are after, but there must be something out there that gives a guide to the railroads and combinations of colored globes and such.
My biggest goof was not bidding higher on a big train light at a house auction about 20 years ago. It went for about $75.00. Turns out it was an interurban headlight! It doesn't pay to be ignorant, eh! Good luck find info.
