Actually, if my memory is correct, I am at work and don't have access to my copy of "The Climax Locomotive" by Dennis Thompson, Climax was the second largest builder of geared locomotives behind Lima. Make that way behind! This surprised me as I had always thought that Heisler was the second largest builder. Will have to re-check the book when I get a chance.
