Just keep in mind that the former equipment from the Loop in only being "baby sat" by the museum. Georgetown Loop Railroad Inc still ownes the equipment and is storing it there until they find a new home. Currently all the equipment is for sale or lease as a "package deal" (note I said ALL the loop equipment). At this point in time, it will probably remain at the museum for a while, and #44 will keep resting for a while. Much of the former loop equipment is owned by the GLR inc, but the #40, #44, the cabooses and the outfit car and owned by Lindsey, Rosa and Dave.
