It has been 91 years since the end of rail operations on the Colusa and Lake, but now it is the end for the roundhouse. I had a chance to stop by yesterday, and it is in the process of being dismantled. Winds had knocked in a quarter of the roof, and a 6" tree of heaven was all that was holding the east wall up. Parts are apparently being used for interior decoration at a nearby sporting goods store. This includes the belt drive shafts (about 4 or 5) and several grinders and small machines.
Photos to come later, but I do have one shot of the Colusa and Lake rail grade, at bridge footings near Sites, CA.
