I remember a few of the problems with 464 when it was at the Farm. It's wheel base was a tad bit too long and had a habit of derailing on the back side of the loop. Then there was the problems with the boiler. As I recall, it was just a shell when they bought it and had to put a tube sheet in the front. That's when they decided not to put the superheaters back in. Then there was the dry pipe, whose collaspe lead to it's permanent sielining at KBF. It really was much more locomotive than they really needed, and when the C-19's became available for use again it was put up for sale.
